It reaches about 55 km/h on flat roads which makes it one of the faster tanks and it has superb handling to boot. Its green paint scheme does a good job blending it in with the environment. It is however easy to spot out in the open due to its tall profile. The Firefly's main gun, the 17 Pounder, can slice through any german tank with ease. The main gun reloads fairly fast which gives you the edge against the Tiger Tank which has a significantly slower reload, and not to mention the quick turret rotation compared to the Tiger's painfully slow turret rotation. The Sherman Firefly, despite being a medium tank IRL, is classified as heavy armor ingame. It can take a beating from bigger tank guns when not hit in critical places of the hull. Its ammo-racks are however easy to penetrate from the sides and on the left frontal armor. Handheld AT launchers will also penetrate with ease and deal a lot of damage. The BESA coaxial MG is a reliable MG to fall on in case of an emergency. Angling the hull is not recommended, seeing as the side armor is incredibly weak. Every second round from the MG is a tracer round. Note that there are only 3 places in this Tank, so picking this tank with a full section is not recommended unless 1 person agrees to leave. The commander and the driver both have a hatch to get better visibility on the battlefield. Due to the removal of the radioman/machine-gunner's position in favor of an ammunition rack, the lack of a hull MG makes it hard to fight off infantry in close quarter combat. A good tactic is to fire and move considering its good mobility. The Firefly is also equipped with smoke shells that can be used effectively to cover infantry or blind enemy tanks. {{Vehicle nav}} [[Category:Medium Tank]] [[Category:Great Britain]]
