The S Mine is a German mine in Post Scriptum. Commonly known as the "Bouncing Betty" by Allied troops, the S Mine was the most known out of all the bouncing mines in W.W.2. A soldier armed with an S Mine would dig a small hole for it to go in, bury the mine in the ground and either have the 3 pronged detonator sticking through the ground or use a tripwire. Once the mine was triggered, it would spring up from the ground to a height around 1-1.5m (3-5 ft) and would explode, sending metal shrapnel in every direction. German documentation stated that the mine was lethal up to 20 meters (66 ft) and could severely injure up to 100 meters (330 ft). Close to 2 million mines were built from 1935-1945, and resulted in multiple armies adopting their own variations of bouncing mines.
