Background[ | ]

The Panzerbüchse 39 is a weapon featured in Post Scriptum. Direct descendant from the Anti-Tank rifles of World War 1 and saw extensive use in the early stages of World War 2 where it faced lightly armored vehicles. By 1944, the weapon had become near obsolete, as it was unable to deal significant damage to the armored vehicles it faced.

Strategy[ | ]

It is best used from inside buildings to engage unsuspecting enemy vehicles, as the lengthy reload animation leaves you open to being shot at. Avoid shooting at tanks head on, as most of them will shrug off shot after shot. Ideally, wait for the vehicle to present its sides or rear where the armor is the thinnest. Against infantry, the Panzerbüchse is devastating. One shot anywhere on an enemy's body is enough to kill them. However, it lacks any high powered scopes, making it extremely difficult to spot and shoot targets at long ranges.
