The Lebel Mle. 1886 M93 is a French bolt-action rifle featured in Post Scriptum.
It was presumably the first broadly manufactured rifle to use the newly discovered "Poudre B", which was the first to be discovered to produce no smoke when firing.
Part of its name stems from the first name of its bullet, the Lebel ammunition, which was designed by Lieutenant Colonel Nicolas Lebel.
As the french production of modern weapon types was slow before WWII, many Lebel Mle. 1886s were shortened to their here portrayed form, the M93 format, to be given out to front-line soldiers and reserve troops.
